May partnered with Mortlach Whisky to design and produce the Mortlach by Design Lounge, an immersive brand environment created for the launch of Mortlach’s latest design collaborations. The activation centered around a private dinner for over 100 VIP guests and coincided with May’s third curatorial exhibition, INDUSTRIALISM, presented during NYCxDesign and Frieze Week.

Hosted at the Stephan Weiss Studio in collaboration with Donna Karan’s UrbanZen, the space featured a curated mix of Mortlach’s design objects and works by artists and designers from the exhibition. Swedish design brand Bolon provided custom flooring for the installation, further contributing to the textural narrative.

The experience culminated in a launch party that welcomed over 500 guests, blending hospitality, spatial design, and product storytelling into a cohesive brand moment — all staged within an architectural environment conceptualized and built by May.
